Colm Lacey has held a variety of high profile positions across London, delivering some of the capitals largest and most complex projects. He is currently Director of Development for Croydon Council and Managing Director/CEO of Brick by Brick, the development company established by the council to undertake residential-led development across the borough. Previously, he played a pivotal role at Newham Council as Director of Regeneration and Planning, leading on a variety of major development projects in Stratford and the Royal Docks which brought the east London borough to international prominence. Colm has also held senior positions at the Homes and Communities Agency and Greater London Authority and was Head of Regeneration at Lambeth Council where he led the regeneration of Brixton Town Centre and multi-award winning projects such as Windrush Square and Clapham One. Colm has an Economics and Urban Design background and believes in working closely with local stakeholders to make places special, vibrant and unique.
